Hilltop Caring is registered for NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) services. We can help match you with housing and care that's just right for you, taking into account your accessibility, funding, support and personal requirements.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Supported Independent Living refers to the individual support and NDIS care you receive, most often when in a shared living arrangement. It involves help and supervision with daily tasks whilst at the same time, helping to build your own skills in these areas. Funding can be provided temporarily or on an ongoing basis.
Our skilled and friendly staff can work with you, the people who are important to you and the other residents in shared housing to help build your personal skills in independent living whilst also encouraging a friendly community environment within your residence. We are passionate about growing strong relationships that support you to live on your terms so you can reach the goals you've set for yourself. We partner with a range of Specialist Disability Accommodation providers, so call us for a chat about your particular accommodation and support needs.
Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)
In some situations, the NDIA may determine it is necessary to fund a participant for Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) funding. It is designed as a medium-term solution for situations where participants may be waiting for home modifications to be completed or when waiting for a vacancy to become available / a new-build to be complete where you want to live. Funding under this category can be provided for up to 90 days and is funded separately from the support component of your plan.
